Chelsea have reportedly thrown their hat in the ring for Jose Gaya.

According to Spanish publication Fichajes.net, the Blues are pondering a January move for the Valencia defender.

The reigning Premier League champions were reportedly eyeing the 20-year-old during the summer transfer window and are now being linked with a winter return for his services.

Manchester City are also keen on Spain U21 international Gaya which could make for an interesting January chase.
