Chelsea are ready to explore re-signing Nathan Ake from Bournemouth.
The defender moved to Bournemouth for £20million in 2017 after five years at Stamford Bridge.
De Telegraaf says the Blues have a £39million buy-back clause, an option they are seriously exploring this summer.
But any move for Ake depends on overturning their two-window transfer ban.
The club are appealing the ban and are challenging Fifa's decision not to allow them to sign any players while they fight the sanction.
And while they take on Fifa to add to their squad, Tottenham are also showing interest in Ake.
