Chelsea are determined to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton this summer.
The Blues believe that Caicedo is the ideal midfielder to strengthen Mauricio Pochettino's squad.
Despite being underwhelmed by Marc Cucurella since he arrived from Brighton last summer, Chelsea are ready to raid the Albion once again.
Per journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Blues are willing to pay a high fee to land the Ecuadorian.
He stated: “Chelsea are convinced that Caicedo is the perfect player for them. From sources I spoke to, the idea is that Caicedo is going to be worth £70m or £80m. No more than this.
“There is also a pact between Caicedo and Roberto De Zerbi. He will be allowed to leave the club this summer if there is an important proposal. Caicedo is really convinced that he will leave, Caicedo wants a new opportunity.
“Chelsea are leading the race in this moment for Caicedo."
