Chelsea threaten Tottenham plans for Nagelsmann

Chelsea are monitoring Julian Nagelsmann's situation.

Despite his sacking by Bayern Munich, the German remains one of the most highly rated young coaches in the game.

And Antonio Conte's departure from Tottenham has seen Nagelsmann linked with a move to North London

Indeed, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is said to have made the former RB Leipzig coach the club's top target, amid claims of talks between the pair.

However, the Daily Mail says they could face competition from Chelsea.

They report Nagelsmann has admirers at Stamford Bridge and he would be of interest to the Blues hierarchy if they decide to part ways with under-fire boss Graham Potter.

Potter has seen pressure ease since the New Year as his team find a playing consistency.

But it's claimed Nagelsmann is on the Blues radar should results again nosedive.
