AC Milan have offered Chelsea target Alessio Romagnoli a huge pay rise after turning down a £30million offer for him.
Milan have rejected Chelsea's bid for Romagnoli and have now drawn up a new deal to keep the 21-year-old.
Romagnoli's existing contract, which runs until 2020, is worth £25,000 a week and AC Milan general director Adriano Galliani is proposing increasing his pay to £42,000 a week.
The deal will cover the same period as at present with an option to extend for a further season.
