Chelsea face a battle to convince Atalanta fullback Robin Gosens about a move to England.

Chelsea have been linked with the defender, but Gosens admits playing in the Bundesliga is a bigger goal.

"I've said several times that the Bundesliga is my big dream," he said after scoring in Atalanta's 7-0 win at Torino last week.

"I don't know if that will work. But I would like to make it happen."

Gosens also said: "I never made a secret of me being a Schalke fan. And if I can still play in the Bundesliga at the club I'm a fan of, that's a step more special.

"But it doesn't have to be Schalke. I will look at every club that has a philosophy that I can work with."
