Chelsea have sounded out Real Madrid about the availability of Karim Benzema. El Mundo Deportivo says Chelsea have already offered €20 million for the France international - and Real have indicated a willingness to sell.

However, they won't consider anything less than €35 million for Benzema.

Real president Florentino Perez is prepared to sell Benzema and expects Chelsea to return nearer the end of the summer transfer window.
