The Sun says Sturridge has told Chelsea he wants to go out on loan to Liverpool.
The Blues striker, 21, has started just TWO League games in two seasons since signing from Manchester City for an initial £3.5million.
Sturridge fancies a move to Anfield on-loan - which could include the option to sign permanently in June.
City are due £500,000 when Sturridge makes his 10th start in competitive games - so far he is on nine.
