The Spaniard injured his knee during Thursday night's 2-2 draw with VIDL in the Europa League.

He was substituted during the first-half of the encounter.

However, a number of first team players are expected to return to face the Seagulls after being rested on Thursday.

This list includes Kepa Arrizabalaga, Antonio Rudiger, Eden Hazard, Cesar Azpilicueta and N'Golo Kante.
