Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud insists international retirement remains off the agenda.
Giroud has revealed some teammates have asked why he keeps making himself available to Les Bleus coach Didier Deschamps.
He told L'Equipe: "There are some guys in Chelsea, especially Antonio Rüdiger, who said to me, 'why do you keep going, you're upstairs, on top of the world, and you're going to be thirty-two'.
"But it would have been too easy to leave there. I feel that I still have it underfoot. I can bring something to the team. So if the coach feels the same, I will be available.
"(But) forcibly, I'm closer to the end than the beginning."
