Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud admits N'Golo Kante was reluctant to touch the World Cup after France's triumph.
The Chelsea team-mates discussed their World Cup success on the club's official Facebook page having both played a starring role for Didier Deschamps' side.
"Obviously we knew that Hugo (captain Lloris) would be the first one to touch it," said Giroud after he was asked about getting his hands on the World Cup.
"I have to say I have been clever because I took the good position to touch it."
The interviewer then asks Kante when he got to touch the World Cup.
"I was waiting my turn," he said, before Giroud interrupted.
"He is so shy so he didn't want to say 'give it to me', so he had to wait.
"Sometimes people came in front of him.
"At the end of the day someone took it and gave it to him."
