Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has reportedly held talks with Lyon club president Jean-Michel Aulas
Le Parisien claim the pair met to discuss a potential switch to Ligue 1 for the France international.
Giroud has voiced his dissatisfaction with his role under Maurizio Sarri, which has seen him play predominantly in the Europa League.
It is reported that a fee of £13million would be needed to sign the 32-year-old.
However, any transfer could be vetoed should Chelsea's one-year transfer ban be upheld next month.
