Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o is offering massive bonuses to Anzhi players if they can beat the drop this season.
Eto'o's former club are fighting against relegation from the Russian Premier League.
Izvestia says the former Anzhi star, who remains close to club president Suleiman Kerimov, has put up a €200,000 bonus to the squad should they stay up.
Former Anzhi coach Andrey Gordeev remarked: "I was not surprised: Eto'o is capable of such actions. And he does so not in order to show off. The Cameroonian is really worried about Anzhi, for the players.
"He enjoys the team's every success and wishes them only victories."
