Chelsea are stepping up interest in Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake.

The Guardian says Chelsea are weighing up making a move to bring Ake back to the club from Bournemouth.

The Netherlands came through Chelsea's academy before joining Bournemouth in 2017.

It's claimed Chelsea could look to bring the 25-year-old back to Stamford Bridge on the cheap if Bournemouth are relegated from the Premier League.

Chelsea have a buy-back option for around £40m in Ake's deal.
