Dom Solanke has reportedly demanded an enormous pay rise from Chelsea.
The Telegraph is of the belief that the 18-year-old striker has a list of demands as he enters the final 12 months of his contract.
A homegrown talent, Solanke is a highly sought-after young attacker who has been honing his craft in Holland with Vitesse Arnhem this season.
It is believed that the Chelsea academy graduate, who is being represented by his stepfather, wants first-team guarantees and a weekly wage of £50,000 if he is to put pen to a new contract with the West London club.
Contract negotiations have nit a snag due to Solanke's requirements as he is yet to prove himself at first team level and the Blues are not prepared, at this stage anyway, to offer him such an exorbitant increase on the £7,000-a-week he currently earns.
England U21 international Solanke has shown glimpses of his enormous ability in the Eredivisie for Vitesse with seven goals in 24 league appearances but that is unlikely to be enough to land him the kind of money that is being rumoured.
