It appears that Charlie Musonda has said goodbye to Celtic after the first six months of his loan from Chelsea.
Although he has another year of the loan deal with the Celts, and the manager Brendan Rodgers suggested he will get more playing time next term, Musonda doesn't sound like he intends to see the contract out.
Blues striker has left a post on Instagram thanking both clubs and their managers for the opportunities he's been given so far.
"As I recover from a collar bone injury, Id like to take the time and reflect on the season, and say a massive thanks to all the staff, at Chelsea Football Club, and the boss Antonio Conte for giving me an opportunity to make my debut at the Bridge, and make a six year awaited dream come true," said Musonda on Instagram.
"It only gave me a taste of how hard I'm expected to keep working to make more outings at Stamford Bridge, and therefore I will work.
"I would like to thank the manager for his guidance and support throughout my two years learning under him, I would like thank all the academy staff and players that helped me make my @premierleague debut and for awarding me with this ball.
"Last but not least I'd like to thank all of the Celtic family, spending the second half of the season in such a prestigious club with its incredible fans was an experience to cherish, to receive number 67 and have your incredible support, everywhere in Glasgow was amazing.
"I will never forget the noise of a European night at the Park, and to be a part of it and witness it first hand was an experience that's made me more hungry for that stage, and that's thanks to you, and the players that just won the league 7 times in a row, and hopefully a double treble.
"I will be a supporter of Celtic forever, I'd like to thank Brendan Rodgers for giving me that opportunity and guidance every single day, as I continue on my quest."
