Chelsea star Raheem Sterling cut a disconsolate figure as he had to come off the field after five minutes against Manchester City.
The England winger was hoping for a happy reunion against his old club in the Premier League.
However, his contest did not last very long, as he was subbed off for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang due to a hamstring issue.
Sterling was seen upset as he was going down the tunnel with the club's physios.
Chelsea went on to lose the game 1-0, despite City putting in a lethargic display for much of the contest.
The Blues will be hoping Sterling, their big money summer signing, can soon find fitness and his best form.
