Chelsea star Frank Lampard has joined the condemnation of Wembley's pitch.

The ground was widely slated for cutting up during the weekend's two FA Cup semi-finals.

Lamps said: "I don't know why they have so many events. It just means the pitch cuts up and is bobbly.

"It is not the way it should be kept. It should be kept in perfect condition for England games, FA Cup games and play-offs."

The pitch has already been re-laid FIVE times in two years. And new turf will be put down in the summer after Wembley has hosted eight concert dates.
