Chelsea star N'Golo Kante admits manager Thomas Tuchel tried to sign him for PSG.

Tuchel was PSG coach before his sacking earlier this season and subsequent appointment at Chelsea.

Now the two have gotten a chance to work together, but Kante could have been playing for Tuchel in France if things had panned out differently.

"I knew in the past there was some contact with Paris Saint-Germain when he was the manager, but it was not something I wanted," Kante said.

"It did not happen because I was happy at Chelsea and I stayed here.

"I haven't spoken to the manager about it."
