Chelsea skipper Terry confident Man Utd boss Mourinho will get warm Stamford Bridge reception

Chelsea skipper John Terry believes Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will get a warm reception at Stamford Bridge next season.

The Portuguese, who was sacked by Chelsea in December, replaced Louis van Gaal as United's manager on Friday.

Even though Terry is aware it may feel slightly odd having Mourinho in the opposition camp, he believes the chelsea faithful will welcome him back with open arms when United play at The Bridge in 2016/17.

"It'll feel very different," said Terry.

"I've come up against Jose for various teams before so it will be interesting.

"He'll get a great reception when he comes back to Stamford Bridge, for sure. First and foremost, we have to look at ourselves this year and fight for the title."
