Gabriel Slonina was at Brentford last night to see Chelsea draw 0-0 with the Bees.

Slonina was spotted at the Brentford Community Stadium,. The 18-year-old completed a £12million move to Stamford Bridge from Chicago Fire in the summer transfer window before returning to the MLS side on loan for the remainder of the season.

The goalkeeper, who penned a deal that keeps him at the Blues until 2028, is expected to join Chelsea in the New Year. Until then, Slonina has been restricted to training with his new club at Cobham.

As of August 11, he began a two-week training period with his new teammates, says Football.London.

The Blues are thought to have the final say as to where Slonina plays his football next year, with Chicago Fire eager to retain his services for another season.
