Chelsea signing Kai Havertz wants the number 29 at the club.
The German has signed on a mega deal from Bayer Leverkusen, and will add to the myriad of offensive options available to manager Frank Lampard.
And The Athletic claims Havertz will ask young defender Fikayo Tomori if he can take the no.29 shirt.
He wore the jersey number during his four year stint at former club Leverkusen.
Tomori is likely to leave on loan for the season, with Everton and Rennes being linked with his signature.
