Chelsea are set to bid for Metz star Habib Diallo.

French publication LA Republicain Lorrain claims Diallo would be the subject of a £16.8 million offer from the Blues.

Chelsea can now sign players after their transfer ban was reversed.

Another Chelsea target is Lyon's Moussa Dembele, but Diallo would represent a more affordable option.

The 24-year-old has managed 10 goals and one assist in 19 Ligue 1 appearances for Metz this term.

Dembele also has 10 goals in the same league, but in 18 appearances.
