Chelsea are set to learn about the appeal of their transfer ban in December.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) is set to rule on the matter in the first half of the coming month.

The Blues had a court hearing on Wednesday regarding the matter.

They will be hoping for an overturn, which would allow them to invest in players and register them during the January transfer window.

The matter is regarding a FIFA disciplinary ruling, which said the club violated up to 150 rules regarding the transfers of young players.

Chelsea were not allowed to sign and register new players in the most recent summer transfer window.
