Chelsea are aiming for talks with Palmeiras coach Abel Ferreira.

Chelsea remain in the process of seeking a new long-term manager after the dismissal of Graham Potter a fortnight ago.

Frank Lampard has been hired as a caretaker to the end of the season as Chelsea carry out a wide range of interviews with candidates.

And among those being considered is Ferreira, says AS.

The Portuguese's success with Palmeiras, where he took the Brazilians to the Club World Cup final 18 months ago only to be beaten by Chelsea, has him on the Blues' shortlist.

Ferreira's character and ability to manage a dressing room is said to be attractive qualities for Chelsea's top brass.
