Chelsea have first refusal on Ajax striker Luis Suarez, it has been revealed.

De Telegraaf says the Uruguay international has signed a pre-contract with Chelsea which guarantees he will join the Blues next summer should he choose to leave Ajax.

Suarez has also been tracked by Manchester United, where Sir Alex Ferguson sees him as an alternative to Dimitar Berbatov.

Any move to Chelsea will be dependent on the London giants having their transfer ban thrown out.

It's been revealed Tottenham have also been in contact with Suarez's agent, Daniel Fonseca, in recent days.
