Chelsea are taking a close look at VVV Venlo midfielder Keisuke Honda. The Telegraph says Chelsea's international scout Hans Gilhaus has watched Japanese midfielder Honda this season.
The youngster is emerging as a January target for Chelsea after they had their FIFA transfer ban suspended.
Honda has admitted in recent weeks he is aware of interest from Liverpool.
