Chelsea defender Michael Mancienne is to undergo a medical with German Bundesliga club Hamburg SV.
The 23-year old, who has spent the last two seasons on loan with Wolves, has agreed a four-year deal with Hamburg according to skysports.com and now just needs to pass a medical to complete the transfer.
The move from Stamford Bridge to Imtech Arena has been made possible by former Blues technical director Frank Arnesen who has become sporting director at Hamburg.
Mancienne has been given permission by the England U21 squad to fly to Germany to tie up the contract.
