Chelsea defender Ben Gordon is set to join Championship club Birmingham City on loan.
The 21-year old left-back spent the second half of last season on loan with Scottish club Kilmarnock and will now continue his development with the Blues.
Gordon will sign an initial six-month deal which will be reassessed in January with Chelsea hoping he can keep improving in a first team environment after recent spells with Peterborough United, Scunthorpe United, Tranmere Rovers and Killie.
