Chelsea boss Roberto di Matteo has withdrawn goalkeeper Petr Cech from his squad for the trip to Liverpool.

Cech, who was outstanding in Saturday's FA Cup final triumph at Wembley over Kenny Dalglish's side, has been rested by Chelsea's interim manager.

Instead Hilario, whose last appearance for Chelsea was in the 3-1 win over Norwich back in August, is expected to deputise.

Rookie reserve keeper Ross Turnbull has also been told he is travelling up by chartered jet to Merseyside this morning, but is likely to be on the substitute's bench.
