Chelsea have intimated they want to keep hold of Reece James.

The Mirror says Chelsea have rejected a £20m offer from Crystal Palace to prise teenage right-back James from Stamford Bridge.

The 19-year-old spent last season on loan at Championship side, Wigan Athletic.

Palace are searching for a new right-back after losing Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United.

But Chelsea are refusing to do business over James.
