Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is reluctant to lose Andreas Christensen this month.

TMW says the Carabao Cup finalists do not want to lose their academy product despite his lack of game time this season.

He has so far featured just 12 times in the current campaign, leading to calls of disgruntlement from his agent and even links with Barcelona and former loan side Borussia Monchengladbach.

Things came to a head last weekend when Christensen went to the toilet during the defeat to Arsenal and never returned to the bench.

Juventus have sounded out an opportunity to add to their star-studded squad by making a move for the centre-back.

But Chelsea have snubbed the approach as they see Christensen as a star for the future, with Gary Cahill the only expected defensive departure this winter.
