Chelsea refuse to budge over Hazard price as Real Madrid deal claims rubbished

Talk of Chelsea and Real Madrid reaching an agreement over a fee for Eden Hazard has been dismissed by Belgian sources.

HLN says the two clubs are still no closer to settling on terms for the Belgium captain.

Real are eager to do business for less than €100m, given Hazard is about to enter the final year of his current deal. However, Chelsea are insisting on €130m to sell - and refuse to budge.

Hazard, after Sunday's draw with Leicester City, conceded there'd been little progress in negotiations.

"I too would have preferred it to be different," said Hazard. “But unfortunately nothing has happened yet. I'm still waiting. Just like you are waiting and the fans still remain in the dark. I have made my decision, but I cannot control everything."
