Chelsea receive suspension boost for Cup clash

Nicolas Jackson is clear to play for Chelsea in tonight's Carabao Cup tie with Brighton.

The striker received a fifth yellow card in defeat at home to Aston Villa on Sunday.

However, the suspension doesn't apply to Cup ties so leaving Jackson available to manager Mauricio Pochettino tonight.

Malo Gusto, who was sent off against Villa, is suspended.

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino will use the tie to continue striker Armando Broja's return after knee surgery before Christmas.
