Chelsea receive huge boost over Chalobah, James ahead of Tottenham clash

Chelsea have received a huge boost ahead of Sunday's clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

The Blues laboured to a 1-1 draw with Brighton on Tuesday.

Manager Thomas Tuchel admitted after the game that his team were immensely fatigued after seven games in 21 days.

In welcome news for Tuchel, defender Trevoh Chalobah is expected to make his return against Spurs.

Reece James has also stepped up his recovery from a hamstring injury this week, per football.london.

Speaking after the Brighton game, Tuchel said: "We are mentally tired and physically tired. You can see it in our performance. It's as easy as that.

"Look at our last week and you will know what we are talking about. We had three away games in seven days, and it's not only about playing, it's also about travelling and not sleeping."
