Chelsea are being linked with a future move for Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller.

The Daily Mirror is among a number of outlets reporting that Blues boss Jose Mourinho is plotting a summer swoop for Muller as he looks to shuffle his attacking options at Stamford Bridge.

Diego Costa's petulant action when tossing his bib in the direction of Mourinho during his stint as an unused sub in the 0-0 draw with Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Sunday has cast further doubt over the Spanish striker's future in West London and has prompted the reigning Premier League champions to seek options elsewhere.

Manchester United have already been heavily linked with Germany star Muller but now Chelsea are planning to go after the 26-year-old either in January or next summer.

Muller's name is on a long list of potential attacking targets the Blues are being linked with including Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann, West Bromwich Albion's Saido Berahino, Shakhtar Donetsk's Alex Texieira, Leicester City's Jamie Vardy and even former Tottenham forward Emmanuel Adebayor.
