Chelsea are willing to consider a swap deal as RB Leipzig seek to re-sign Timo Werner.

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting Chelsea are trying to do a swap deal with RB Leipzig involving Werner and Josko Gvardiol.

The Blues are keen to shift outcast Werner after the striker admitted he is considering his future. Former club RB Leipzig are a potential destination.

But Chelsea are keen to sign a new centre-back and have spotted an opportunity in acquiring Gvardiol from Leipzig.

That is according to Romano, who claims talks are happening over a potential swap, but a deal will be hard to reach.
