Chelsea push to secure three more players to new contracts

Chelsea are pushing to secure three more players to new contracts.

The Daily Mail says Chelsea are targeting a treble contract boost with Willian, Tammy Abraham and Reece James all in line for extensions.

All three are due to play significant roles for the Blues next season, the club's two window transfer ban meaning head coach Frank Lampard must work with the players already at his disposal.

Long-serving forward Willian is in talks over a two-year extension, with club officials understood to be confident the Brazilian will put pen to paper.

James, who has returned to the club following an impressive spell at Wigan last season, is also set to land a new deal.

And Chelsea are keen to extend Abraham's existing deal, that expires in 2022.
