Chelsea are attempting to reopen talks for Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez.
The Blues are refusing to take no for an answer from the Portuguese club.
Fernandez, a central midfielder, won the World Cup with Argentina in the winter.
Per the Daily Mail, Chelsea are preparing another offer for Fernandez in the coming days.
For their part, Benfica want the player's £106 million release clause paid for any transfer to happen.
They also want the entire payment up front and will not accept any negotiations.
