Departing Chelsea winger Joe Cole is being tipped to lift the lid on the rifts inside England's World Cup camp in his new book.

The Daily Mail says Cole hinted at problems in the camp after the England defeat without going into any detail.

No doubt the chapter reserved for the World Cup in his upcoming autobiography, to be published by Simon & Schuster in August, will have a full account of what went wrong - and bank big newspaper serialisation rights in the process.
