Chelsea are pushing ahead with a move for Maritimo midfielder Josip Vukovic.

The Blues have a transfer ban in place, but will likely appeal to give themselves the summer window to sign players.

According to talkSPORT, one of the players they will target is 26-year-old Vukovic.

He is a strong defensive midfielder with a good passing range.

Vukovic has impressed in Portugal since his move to Maritimo and would add competition for Jorginho at Chelsea.

He is only valued at £4million, perfect for the rotation role that Chelsea sees him playing in their squad.
