The off-field behaviour of England's biggest names are hurting the FA's commercial value.
The Daily Mail says the off-field antics of Chelsea pair John Terry and Ashley Cole, Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney and Tottenham's Peter Crouch are now impacting on the FA's search for a new sponsor of the England team.
It is understood player behaviour was one of the reasons cited for NatWest recently ending negotiations with the FA about replacing long-term backers Nationwide.
NatWest, who offered more over four years than the £20million renewal proposal from Nationwide that the FA foolishly rejected last December, had also been put off by England's woeful World Cup showing and the totally negative atmosphere surrounding the national side.
