Chelsea owner Boehly makes personal move for super groundsman Burgess

Chelsea are preparing another transfer raid - but this time they are recruiting their next groundsman.

The Blues have parted company with Jason Griffin, who had spent the past 30 years at the club.

His son Reisse was also let go, with Chelsea now looking to hire a replacement.

The Mirror states that former Real Madrid and Arsenal groundsman Paul Burgess is the man they will choose.

He is seen as the leader in his field, having left Real in 2020 to pursue other projects.

Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly wants to ensure the club have the best man for the job in place.
