Chelsea are in talks with Brentford attacker Said Benrahma.

RMC says discussions have begun but an offer is yet to be submitted for the 24-year-old Algerian.

He has spent the last two seasons at Griffin Park after arriving from French side Nice in 2018.

Benrahma is a tricky wideman who has even been dubbed the 'Algerian Messi'.

He has played 34 of Brentford's 37 Championship matches so far this season, scoring ten goals - including a hat-trick in the 5-1 drubbing of Hull.

And could be the ideal replacement for veteran midfielders Pedro and Willian.

The experienced duo are both out of contract this summer and could be exiting Stamford Bridge.
