Chelsea have opened new contract talks with Kurt Zouma.

His appearance in yesterday's 1-1 draw at Brighton was Zouma's 100th appearance for Chelsea.

Foot Mercato says Blues manager Frank Lampard is delighted with the impact of Zouma this season, with the France international spending last term on-loan at Everton.

Indeed, so much so that Chelsea have discussed new terms with Zouma's minders.

The defender is currently tied to the Blues to 2023 and the new deal would include an extension and a pay-rise.
