Chelsea are being offered a cut price deal for a quality centre-back.

The Blues are in a position to only pay £13 million to secure Stefan de Vrij from Inter Milan.

Chelsea's desire to sign defenders is well known, after the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.

According to Tuttosport, de Vrij is wanted by the Blues and possibly Manchester United this summer.

He is available for a modest fee, as his contract is up at the end of this coming season.

Inter would rather sell him this summer than lose him on a free transfer next summer.
