Chelsea No2 Gianfranco Zola admits he'd have liked to have played for manager Maurizio Sarri.

Zola joined Sarri as his assistant this summer.

"I would have enjoyed it a lot," said the Italian.

"If you see the stats, we play the majority of the games in the opposition half. So you touch a lot of balls, especially our strikers, in the last 20 metres, which is where a striker with my qualities would have enjoyed very much."
