Chelsea assistant manager Jody Morris says Frank Lampard is prepared to be tough with their young players.

Morris has shot down suggestions he is Chelsea's 'bad cop'.

"It's not like that," said Morris. "We have different personalities.. But there have certainly been moments when he is 100 per cent the bad cop.

"When there are moments when things need to be said, 99 per cent of the time it's him.

"When he needs to give some of them a kick up the backside he has no problem with doing it.

"There are moments when you go, 'We are in a man's game and we are in big competition week in, week out and that is what you get at Chelsea'."
