Chelsea are looking to raid London rivals Tottenham for midfielder Paulinho.
Reports are suggesting that the Blues are showing significant interest in the 25-year old Brazilian who could be used as a makeweight for Spurs to lure Romelu Lukaku to White Hart Lane.
The Belgian striker has been impressive on loan for Everton this season and it is believed that Tottenham are determined to get him in a Spurs shirt next season.
Paulinho joined Tottenham from Corinthians for around £17million last summer and started life in north London positively under Andre Villas-Boas before injury and form under Tim Sherwood restricted his playing time.
Brazilian site Lancenet suggests that Paulinho, who is being watched by clubs in Italy and Spain, may have already agreed a deal to join Chelsea when the summer transfer window opens.
