Chelsea monitoring Brentford goalkeeper David Raya

Chelsea are monitoring Brentford goalkeeper David Raya.

Raya could soon depart the Bees with his contract up in 2024. He has already rejected two new contract offers from his current club and has previously hinted at his desire to play European football.

Raya has not been shy to engage in talk surrounding his contract situation in west London, with Chelsea joined by Tottenham and Manchester United in targeting Raya, according to The Telegraph.

"I don't think it's the right time to sign a contract at the moment," Raya said. "I'm really, really happy and right now, I'm just thinking about doing the best for the team and trying to push for Europe.

"I was offered a new contract last year and one in January, but we didn't reach an agreement," he added. "For now, a new contract is secondary. The most important thing is the team and the games. We'll see where we are in May."
